I have held you close. Now as you fly into
adulthood, bound to open books and discover
worlds, I release you. But not without one final
prayer: Prosper not only in your studies, but
prosper in knowing God more richly.
I will not be there to catch you when you fall. But
God will catch you when I can’t.
Depend on Him [...]

I’ve often heard the phrase, “What you don’t know can’t hurt you,” – which is just another take on the phrase ignorance is bliss. After all, if you don’t know that something is going on, then how can it hurt you, right? Right!

This little tiny baby
Was sent from God above
To fill our hearts with happiness
And touch our lives with love
He must have known
We’d give our all
And always do our best
To give our precious baby love
And be grateful and so blessed – Author Unknown.
There are definitely “babies in the air.”  LOL!!  No, not literally – just meaning that [...]

My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I do not choose the colors,
But God works steadily.

Often God weaves sorrow,
And I, in foolish pride,
Forget God sees the top
While I the underside.

Not until the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Will God unroll the canvas
And explain the reasons why.

But, the dark threads are as needful
In the skillful weaver’s hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern God has planned.

Don’t let the opinions of the average man sway you. Dream, and he thinks you’re crazy. Succeed, and he thinks you’re lucky. Acquire wealth, and he thinks you’re greedy. Pay no attention. He simply doesn’t understand. ~ Robert G. Allen

Have you ever had an “ah ha” moment after reading a certain sentence in a book, or attending a conference? Well I have! In February, I had the opportunity to fly out to San Diego to attend a Robert Allen conference…and I’m headed there again next week!

This man is a man of much wisdom, and knowledge. The type of person that really gets a person thinking about the past, present, & future. Robert Allen has made a positive impact in the way that I think, and the way I do business. He “sells from the heart!”

Let us rise up and be thankful,
for if we didn’t learn a lot today,
at least we learned a little,
and if we didn’t learn a little,
at least we didn’t get sick,
and if we got sick,
at least we didn’t die;
so let us all be thankful.

Sometimes we forget that to say “Thank You” for the many blessings we have in our lives. However, when you open up you window shade and are presented with a gift like this, how can you forget? Thank you, Lord for blessing me, my family & my friends!!

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Life is not [...]

“Here’s to the bright New Year, and a fond farewell to the old; here’s to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold.”
– Anonymous
Another year come and gone…and as they say, the older you get, the faster it goes.
It’s this final day of the year that we look back [...]

Often times as parents we want to give our children “a better life,” then what we had growing up, but how do we define “better?”
Last night I was listening to Heshie Segal’s interview of Dr. Dennis Waitley, and he made this comment, ” Give your children roots and wings and less loot and things.”  It [...]
