Individuality is what we’re all about. Every single one of us is unique in our own way. Whether it be our outside physical characteristics or our inside demeanor, no two people are exactly the same. Just like the brilliance of a diamond, each and every one of us shines in our own fashion.
I recently came across a contest that was being held at www.sokobe.com, and it immediately made me realize just how different people truly are, and how we’re not easily “read by our cover,” alone.
I, for example, am not the type of person that you would imagine me to be at first glance. Anyone looking at me from the outside would presumably think that I was a typical “girly girl.” Sugar and spice and everything nice, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth. In fact, I often tell my friends and family that I think I was meant to be a man. LOL!
I enjoy electronics, and technology…domestic knick-knacks and houseplants just aren’t on my top ten lists of things in which to splurge. Tupperware parties? I don’t think so…but if Apple started a home-based party, then sign me up!
Okay, but then there are still some of those girlie, girl things that make me smile. The shoes, the purses, different lipstick shades, and YES even those sparkly diamonds – after all, diamonds ARE a girl’s best friend you know!
So why should I deserve to win the diamond ring contest from sokobe.com? Well it’s obvious; I am my own type of jewel. I may be sparkly and shiny on the outside, however, after examining me even further, you’ll see that what’s on the inside that really what make me shine. It may not be the, color, clarity and carat that I’m defined by, but rather the love and support I provide to those whom I call family and friends.
